Sober Fun in Decatur, Georgia

It’s critical to start finding new ways to have fun drug rehab and alcohol rehab. Decatur is packed with options, including the following highlights:

Decatur Square Sober FunDecatur Square – 101 East Court Square, Decatur, GA 30030
The downtown Decatur city center has a wealth of activities such as parks, restaurants, shops, a Saturday farmers market (9:00am until 1:00pm), live music and events year round. It is also right on the MARTA Blue Line train route at the Decatur MARTA Station for easy access to anybody.

Sights & Sounds Black Cultural Museum – 2050 Lawrenceville Highway, Decatur, GA 30033
Focusing on the history, culture, and societal contributions of African-Americans, this museum is home to over 8000 items of history including art, documents, videos, artifacts, and books and is curated by Mr. James Horton.

Your Dekalb Farmers Market – 3000 East Ponce De Leon Avenue, Decatur, GA 30030
Open 7 days a week from 9:00am until 9:00pm, the Dekalb Farmers Market is a massive world market that people come from all over Atlanta to visit. Here you can find fresh fruits and vegetable, meats, cheeses, seafood, and baked goods from all over the globe.

Glenlake Park – 1211 Church Street, Decatur, GA 30030
Spacious city park in Decatur which offers grills and pavilions, playgrounds for the kids, paved walking paths, hiking trails, full court basketball, tennis courts, a dog park, and a pool. There’s also an adjacent cemetery for those of the more morbid persuasion.

Toy Park – 133 Nelson Ferry Road, Decatur, GA 30030
While we’ve also heard it referred to as a “Toy Graveyard” this park is an ideal place for young children to come and run wild, while giving their parents a brief respite. The reason for the second name is that people will donate toys by leaving them here, so there is always something new for the kids to investigate and play with.
