Located near the northern tip of Atlanta’s Heroin Triangle, Roswell is the 8th largest city in Georgia with nearly 100,000 residents. With the wealth and prosperity of the area comes a great deal of drug abuse and even drug related crime. In addition to a high rate of opiate addiction and overdoses there are significant issues with other drugs such as meth, prescription pills and cocaine. In fact back in 2018, police arrested a man after finding 20 kilos of cocaine at his Roswell residence. To combat prescription pill addiction, Roswell Police host a Drug Take Back Day to dispose of unused prescriptions.

When you struggle with a crippling addiction to drugs or alcohol, your life can seem as though it’s on hold. Once you have come to the conclusion that you may indeed have a serious substance abuse disorder, it’s a good idea to start researching the best Roswell drug and alcohol rehab options. The first step is to understand the types of rehab that are available to you.

Addiction Treatment

Selecting the right treatment center and level of care for you or a loved one’s substance abuse problems can be a very daunting task. Whether you’re considering drug or alcohol detox, inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment or sober living we strongly recommend that you give our caring experts a call at 770-299-1677 so we can assist you in navigating through this difficult and life changing process.

Roswell Inpatient Drug & Alcohol Rehab

Inpatient treatment involves a more intensive form of rehabilitation in a hospital like of setting. It offers extensive access to medical services and supervision from health care professionals on a 24/7 basis to ensure that you have quick access to anything you need during your rehab. It may also involve a facility that is situated outside of a hospital type of setting. In some cases, there may not be 24/7 access to health care professionals, but there is staff on hand all hours of the day and hospital services are available whenever necessary. Inpatient treatment is often necessary when you have a significant addiction to drugs or alcohol that is more long term in nature or where there is not a safe, stable and sober living environment. Individuals with a dual diagnosis, who suffer from not only a substance abuse disorder but a mental health condition as well, may also require inpatient treatment.

Roswell Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab

While Roswell outpatient rehab is similar to inpatient, it is less extensive and allows people to return home each night to tend to their personal, work and family matters. Roswell drug rehabs typically start outpatients off in a PHP (partial hospitalization program) level of care. This typically means attending groups at the rehab center from 9am until 4pm from Monday through Friday. Once stabilized at this level of care (typically 4-6 weeks), the next tier of care is IOP (intensive outpatient program). Clients in a Roswell IOP typically attend groups from 9am until noon 3 days a week. The final tier is the Outpatient Program in which individuals come to the treatment center once a week for group and an individual counseling session.
